National Child Development Centre

Sensational Kids plans to break ground on its National Child Development Centre this summer and is calling on businesses across Ireland to support their bid to raise the final €1.5million of this €11million project.

The custom-built National Child Development Centre will enable Sensational Kids to significantly increase the capacity of therapeutic services for children across Ireland. The National Child Development Centre is exemplar in its design as a Centre of Excellence for the provision of therapeutic supports to children with additional needs and will reach more than 2,500 children per annum by 2023 and support more than 30,000 families over the next ten years. Sensational Kids now requires a further €1.5m to commence work this summer on the National Child Development Centre located on a 2.4 acre greenfield site in Kildare Town which is strategically located beside the M7 motorway.

The National Child Development Centre is set to help at least 30,000 children across Leinster and further afield over the next ten years. Located on a prime site in Kildare town and seconds from the M7, the National Child Development Centre will boast a 17,000+ sq. ft. flagship centre with 4 Occupational Therapy gyms, 11 multi-disciplinary therapy rooms, a training and group facility and an outdoor inclusive playground. It will be unlike any other therapy centre for children on the island of Ireland.
