Pax the Penguin is a toiletry bag with a unique difference. It teaches the child the fundamental basics of personal hygiene while indirectly teaching the child dressing skills such as buttons and zips.
This interactive wash-bag nurtures motor skills as children learn to open and close the Velcro compartments, unzip Pax’s jacket to put their toothpaste and toothbrush away. It also features 2 sizes of buttons to help develop eye to hand co-ordination and has a useful tie feature when the wash-bag is closed up.
This wash bag helps with motor skill development as well as helping to improve child hygiene and good self-care routines.
Use buttons, zips, Velcro and laces to store away your items with compartments for toothpaste, brush, washcloth and sponges.
Available in Pink or Blue
“Being a parent of a child with autism can be difficult. Normal daily tasks can be challenging for both the child and parent requiring perseverance and encouragement. Products come and go which can assist in the development of enabling skills. Some are good , some are bad. Having used the wash and learn product i would have to say that it is up there with the very best. The product itself is attractive and interesting to kids. The design assists greatly with the development of fine motor skills in a fun way while all the time getting the child into a routine for basic hygiene tasks. Great idea and more importantly it works !!! Will be watching future products with interest.”
