Be Sensational

You can be that one that improves the lives of thousands of children.

Sensational Kids has outgrown its rented facility in Kildare Town and needs greater space and facilities to help more children access therapy supports so they can reach their full potential. We believe that all children deserve timely access to the very best therapy supports.

Today 1 in 4 children in Ireland have a special educational need. With 70,000 children on lengthy public waiting lists for Speech & Language and Occupational Therapy, we need you to join us on our journey to build Sensational Kids a ‘forever home’ so we can help children of all abilities reach their full potential.

Since 2007, we have changed the lives of more than 9,000 children, saving their families in excess of €2 million in therapy fees, and by building our new National Child Development Centre on a greenfield site just off the M7 motorway at Kildare Town we will be able to deliver 150,000 therapy interventions over 10 years, supporting 330 children each week.

Together we can change the lives of 30,000 children over the next 10 years by building on the provision of comprehensive, family-centred, therapeutic care for which Sensational Kids is known.

The Cost

The project including purchase, design, project management, legal, and ground works will cost over €8 million euros. The majority of the project will be funded through private individual donations facilitated through The Department of Justice and co-funded by €1 million from Sensational Kids’ fundraising.

We have always been innovative when it comes to meeting the needs of children on waiting lists for therapy supports. Now it is time to go to a new level to provide a practical solution that will deliver transformational change for those children who will have access to therapy supports when they need them. Your support to help us build Sensational Kids’ HQ will enable us to help more children like James in our community and across Leinster.
